Hide The Stuffed Animal!
Best Played: Indoors
Supplies Needed:
- Stuffed animal(s)
Basic Rules:
Hide a stuffed animal or another small toy in the room. Use Hot/Cold or describe the area where the stuffed animal is hidden.
This is for the younger kids. You can hide the stuffed animal in a single room or play in the whole house! If your kid is not old enough to fully grasp the concept of Hot or Cold (usually under 4 years old), you can let them look for a little bit and say something like “Maybe it’s over by your bed” to get them searching the right area. Once they find the stuffed animal, it’s time to switch. Have them hide it and help direct you to where to find it. If you want to make it more challenging, you can hide multiple stuffed animals. Alternatively, if you have multiple kids, you can have one stuffed animal for each kid. When you say hot or cold, they won’t know which one you are referring to. You can even switch between kids depending on how close someone is to their stuffed animal.
